The Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel will hold a public meeting pursuant to section 219(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, for the purpose of obtaining input from the public to consider the matter of its intention to pass a by-law to designate council members entitled to cast additional votes during certain vacancies on Regional Council.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to By-law 23-95, Subsection 3(a) and Section 4 that the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel will be considering the following proposal

The Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel is providing notice that it intends to adopt the 2025 Regional Operating and Capital Budgets, and to amend by-laws fixing fees and charges for Regional services.

The Regional Municipality of Peel hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, pursuant to the Canadian Navigable Waters Act for approval of the work described herein and its site and plans.

The Region of Peel has completed the 2020 Water and Wastewater Master Plan for its lake-based systems which updates the 2013 Master Plan.

To declare fee simple interest in Region owned land as surplus and thereafter transferring fee simple interest in land gratuitously to The Corporation of the City of Brampton.

Take notice that The Regional Municipality of Peel (the “Region”) intends to pass a local improvement charges by-law to construct a sanitary sewer as a Local Improvement on municipal lands from Rivermont Road to 2257 Embleton Road, in the City of Brampton, Ward 6.

The Regional Council Budget meetings are open to the public and residents may attend. The meetings will also be live streamed on peelregion.ca. The 2024 Regional Operating and Capital Budget will be available at peelregion.ca/budget as of November 2, 2023.

A decision was made by the Regional Municipality of Peel on the above-noted date to approve Amendment No. 274, New Employment Area to expand the Bolton Rural Service Centre Boundary.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to By-law 23-95, Subsection 3(a) and Section 4 that the Council of The Regional Municipality of Peel will be considering the following proposal.

The purpose of the new Brampton Official Plan, adopted by Brampton City Council on November 1, 2024 through By-law 195-2023, is to repeal and replace the in-effect Brampton Official Plan, as amended, with the new Brampton Official Plan, save and except for Part Two: Secondary Plans, as amended, and Official Plan Amendments constituting the Secondary and Block Plans.
