Some of the data in this section is sourced from the Canadian Community Health Survey. Canadian Community Health Survey data from 2015 onwards should not be compared to data from previous years.

Students who used substances in the past year, including alcohol, high-caffeine energy drinks, electronic and tobacco cigarettes, cannabis, opioids and other drugs.
Provides data about:
- Any drug use excluding cannabis.
- Student drug use excluding cannabis.
- Potential student drug use problem.
- Drug use in pregnancy.
Student access to drugs report
Provides data about:
- Perceived access to drugs among students.
- Source of non-prescribed opioid pain relief pills among students.
Risk behaviour associated with drug use report
Provides data about:
- Intoxicated on school property.
- Student passenger with driver using drugs.
- Treatment for drug or alcohol use among students.
Student perceived risk of harm from drug use
Provides data about:
- Student perception of harm with trying drugs.
- Student perception of drug problem at school.
