Airport Road - Braydon Boulevard/Stonecrest Drive to Countryside Drive

Notice of study completion

June 17, 2021 - Peel Region has completed a Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study for Airport Road from Braydon Boulevard/Stonecrest Drive to Countryside Drive, in the City of Brampton.

The study was conducted according to the requirements for a Schedule C project in the Municipal Engineers Association document titled Municipal Class Environmental Assessment.

The planned improvements will benefit all transportation modes including cyclists, pedestrians, transit users and motorists and will include:

• Widening from 4 to 6 lanes to accommodate additional vehicular volumes;
• Off-road multi-use paths to accommodate cyclists and pedestrians on both sides of the street; and
• Incorporating streetscaping as feasible.
