Earn points toward an EcoSchools certification
You can now earn your school points when a Peel Water Story module is completed. Access this action card through the EcoSchools Certification Application.
These Peel Water Story modules use the ArcGIS Online Story Map application. They also include an introductory element of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to drive the learning.
Educators can adapt these modules for multiple subject areas in grades 5 – 12.
We offer 3 modules:
- Rain to drain – water sources and water infrastructure
- Taking the plunge – water pollution
- Lay of the land – watersheds and stormwater systems
Each module will take 40 minutes to complete. Preparation requires access to a lab or a class set of laptops or tablets.
Access our teacher handbook for additional information on each module including curriculum connections.
