Big picture accomplishments
- Reduced shelter stays from 81 days to 44 days in 2025, a 46% decrease, through portable subsidies
- Expanded Community Paramedicine through Social Prescribing to connect vulnerable clients with community-based services that address non-medical needs and improve overall well-being
- Helped 1,000+ households exit Ontario Works monthly, a 25% increase from 2024, with approximately 28% due to employment
- Completed over this Term of Council: 468 units/beds with 1,314 units/beds currently under development funded by an $842.8 million Council capital investment.
