Our progress
Together with Council’s leadership, community input, and clearly-set outcomes and priorities, significant progress is being made towards achieving our vision of a Community for Life.
Examples include:
- An overall customer satisfaction rating of 82% in 2025, reflecting the trust and confidence of the community.
- Peel’s affordable housing system housed and/or supported 43,717 households in 2025. The system also stabilized and/or affordably housed 7,487 net new households with 84% of households receiving long-term stability supports.
- Between 2021 to 2025, cumulative cost containment of $100.3 million has been achieved, which includes $28.6 million in cost savings achieved through the completion of 171 continuous improvement initiatives.
- Committed $166 million to maintain the state of good repair of buildings in Peel Living.
- Vaccinated over 54,000 children during the 2024-2025 school year, delivered over 730 vaccine clinics, and reduced call centre wait times by 34%.
- Accelerated over 30 water/wastewater projects in Brampton and Caledon through Peel’s Flow – Central Brampton and South Caledon programs to support housing growth and help meet provincial targets.
