    Locations, hours, and services

    Peel Region operates 6 Community Recycling Centres (CRCs).

    All CRCs provide drop-off areas for:

    • Household hazardous waste (limited amounts).
    • Recyclable and reusable items.

    There are disposal fees for some waste items.

    To drop off items at a CRC, you must provide proof that you're a Peel resident or that you own (or work for) a business that operates in Peel. Check the drop-off guidelines.

    All CRCs are closed on all statutory and provincial holidays.

    Backyard composters

    Backyard composters are sold from April to June at the Fewster, Heart Lake, and Bolton CRCs only (while quantities last). Each composter:

    • Costs $22.00 (including taxes).
    • Has a capacity of 300 L (80 gal).
    • Is made from recycled materials and is BPA-free.
    • Has a twist-locking lid.
    • Has a harvest door for removing compost easily.

    Brampton Community Recycling Centre

    395 Chrysler Dr., Brampton

    Regular hours:
    Monday – Sunday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

    Additional operating hours:
    Monday – Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., May to August

    Additional services:

    • The Salvation Army Donor Welcome Centre accepts reusable items. Check the list of acceptable items for donation.
    • The Salvation Army Thrift Store at this location is permanently closed.

    Heart Lake Community Recycling Centre

    420 Railside Dr., Brampton

    Regular hours:
    Monday – Sunday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

    Additional operating hours:
    Thursdays, 4:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., May to October

    Additional services:

    • Business Hazardous Waste disposal with approved application.
    • The Salvation Army Donor Welcome Centre accepts reusable items. Check the list of acceptable items for donation.

    Bolton Community Recycling Centre

    109 Industrial Road, Bolton

    • Monday Closed
    • Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Sunday Closed

    Caledon Community Recycling Centre

    1795 Quarry Drive, Caledon

    • Monday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • Sunday Closed

    Yard waste disposal fees at this location

    • Yard waste up to 150 kg can be dropped off for free.
    • Yard waste over 150 kg, will be charged at the rate of 14.1 cents per kg.

    Battleford Community Recycling Centre

    2255 Battleford Rd., Mississauga

    Regular hours:
    Monday – Sunday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

    Additional operating hours:
    Monday – Thursday, 4:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., May to August

    Additional services:

    • The Salvation Army Donor Welcome Centre accepts reusable items. Check the list of acceptable items for donation.

    Fewster Community Recycling Centre

    1126 Fewster Dr., Mississauga

    Regular hours:
    Monday – Sunday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

    Additional services:

    • Business Hazardous Waste disposal with approved application.
    • The Salvation Army Donor Welcome Centre accepts reusable items. Check the list of acceptable items for donation.

    Half-day closures

    CRCs close at 12 p.m. on Christmas Eve (December 24) and New Year’s Eve (December 31).

    All-day closures
