You can bring most waste items to a Community Recycling Centre (CRC).
CRC's accept many waste items for free. Disposal fees apply to some items.

You can dispose of these household hazardous items for free.
Recyclable materials
You can drop off these acceptable recyclable items for free.
Reusable items
Donation drop-off areas are available. Limited items are accepted.
Large appliances
Large metal appliances are not collected at the curb.
Bring these items to any Community Recycling Centre:
- air conditioner
- dehumidifier
- dish washer
- dryer
- fireplace insert (metal)
- freezer
- fridge
- furnace
- heat pump/exchanger
- hot water tank
- oil tanks (empty)
- pool heaters (metal)
- safes (home, metal)
- shower enclosure (metal)
- stove
- tub (metal)
- washer (clothes)
- water cooler

If your appliance still works:
- Consider donating it for reuse.
- Arrange for your retailer to remove your old appliances when your new models are delivered.
Disposal fees apply
Disposal fees apply to items such as:
- Garbage.
- Residential yard waste.
- Clean fill: soil, sod, topsoil, clay, and sand.
- Construction, renovation, and demolition material (insulation must be double bagged). Asbestos is not accepted.
