    Peel Living Collaborative Network

An opportunity for Peel Living partners to network and collaborate on innovative solutions.

The Peel Living Collaborative Network is a platform that brings existing Peel Living partners together to strengthen connections, enhance resource sharing, and improve service delivery across Peel Living's housing communities.

This initiative aims to foster a deeper level of engagement among partners who already provide valuable support and programs at Peel Living sites. The network creates an opportunity for partners to connect, share best practices, and collaborate on innovative solutions that improve Peel Living tenants' overall quality of life. Through regular meetings, partners can ensure that services remain aligned with Peel Living's mission and maximize the collective impact of the programs offered to tenants.

By working together, partners can address key tenant needs such as:

    • Senior support.
    • Mental health and well-being.
    • Youth empowerment.

    Objectives

    • Establish a platform to collaborate and share information between Peel Living and community partners.
    • Validate and adjust services to align Peel Living's mission and its core tenant focus areas.
    • Build long-term partnerships and collaborations that encourage sustainable, innovative, and effective solutions to meet challenges experienced by the tenants.
    • Build connections among partners using Peel Living spaces to support cross-organizational efforts. This is to provide a platform for partners to network, collaborate and enhance the impact of their programs and services for tenants.

    Values

    • Collaborate with respect, accountability, and integrity.
    • Commit to equitable and inclusive treatment of all partners and tenants.
    • Foster innovation and adapt to service provision, ensuring the table stays responsive to our tenants' evolving needs.
    • Prioritize tenant-centered decision-making that reflects the diverse needs of Peel Living's community.

    Membership

Membership to the Peel Living Collaborative Network is open to all current Peel Living partners.

Each meeting will require partners to commit 1.5 hours to quarterly virtual meetings, plus time for preparation and follow-up tasks.

Additional working group meetings may be scheduled based on emerging needs or specific projects.

The network will be a space where partners will:

    • Attend and participate in meetings regularly and actively contribute to discussions.
    • Collaborate with fellow partners, Peel Living staff, and key stakeholders to identify solutions that address tenant needs.
    • Follow the values and code of conduct set by Peel Living, to ensure respectful and productive collaboration.
    • Maintain open communication with other partners and Peel Living staff to stay informed about ongoing initiatives and updates.
    • Provide regular updates to partners on progress toward agreed-upon goals and the evaluation of outcomes.

    Governance structure

The Partners Network meeting will be chaired by Peel Living's Community Initiatives Specialists, who will be responsible for setting meeting agendas, facilitating discussions, and ensuring follow-up on action items.

Decision-making at the Partners Network will be based on consensus. This allows all partners to have a voice in the outcomes and ensures that their decisions reflect the group’s collective expertise.

To join the Partners Network, email us to connect with the Peel Living Partnership Team.
