Support for Ukrainian newcomers

Part of our ongoing work to help newcomers settle in Peel, we're currently supporting people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.

Affordable transit

Partnering with Brampton and Mississauga to offer discounted monthly bus passes gives more people access to affordable transit.

Preventing human sex trafficking

Forcing someone into commercial sex acts is a crime. We support victims, survivors, and those at risk by providing safe housing and dedicated services.

Reducing poverty

Safe affordable housing and transportation, nutritious food, quality health care and education are basic human rights. We’re working together to ensure everyone’s needs are met.

Neighbourhood Information Tool

In partnership with our municipalities and the United Way Greater Toronto, this tool is an important starting point for better understanding our neighbourhoods.

Family and intimate partner violence

It can happen to anyone of any race, age, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, or gender identity. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from. It’s not ok.

Community investment funding

Provides grants to agencies so they can better deliver human and social services.

Helping community agencies respond to the needs of Peel’s most vulnerable residents during COVID-19.
