    Waste workshops

    Waste workshops are fun and engaging. They put the spotlight on current waste issues and will inspire students to reduce waste at home and school.

    Curriculum-linked waste workshops are facilitated by Ecosource and offered to classes in Grades 1 through 8. Find more information or book a workshop.

    For ESL and LINC instructors: Multicultural Connections Program

    Toronto and Region Conservation Authority’s (TRCA) Multicultural Connections Program (MCP) helps introduce new Canadians to their local natural environment.

    MCP delivers online or in-person environmental presentations for English as a Second Language (ESL) schools, Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) centres, Canadian Citizenship Preparation Classes, Newcomer Groups and Faith-based Organizations.

    MCP staff also coordinate Discovery Walks and Newcomer Events, and provide interactive booth displays for cultural and faith-based events.
