Request a high water bill investigation
This service is for Peel customers who have received an unusually high water bill.
You don’t need to apply or fill out a form to request a water bill investigation.
If you've received a high bill, a Verification Representative will walk with you through the premise to identify any sources of leaks.

You are eligible for this service if you have a Region of Peel water bill account.
What you need
To request a bill investigation:
- Your name needs to be listed on the water bill account.
- You'll need to provide your water bill account number or address where you receive water service.
There is no cost for this service.
How to request an investigation
To request a bill inspection, you can:
- Call 905-791-8711 (905-584-2216 for long distance areas in Caledon), or
- Email Water and wastewater bills. Include your water bill account number or service address in the message.

Peel Region does not test water meters. You can request a third party to test your water meter. If the test proves that the meter is working properly, you will be responsible for the cost of testing the meter.
