Our Peel Public Health clinics provide counselling, information and testing for sexually transmitted infections, birth control, and other sexual health services.

Our clinics are confidential, respectful, non-judgemental, inclusive, and 2SLGBTQ+ positive.

Eligibility

No referral or health card is required. Our clinics are available to anyone in need of sexual health services.

We provide services that are fair, easy to access, and respect all cultures. Our clinics support people in Peel who may face challenges getting sexual health services elsewhere. This includes:

• People who don’t have an Ontario Health Card.
• People who are Black, African, or Caribbean.
• People who are two-spirit, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, or other men who have sex with men.
• People who engage in sex work.
• People who use substances.
• People who are street-involved or unstably housed.
• Youth 29 years old and younger.

Fees

The clinic services are free of charge.

Services

Our clinics provide the following services:

• Birth control methods and options at a reduced cost.
• Free condoms.
• Free testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and testing for certain blood borne infections.
• Emergency contraception (the “morning after pill”).
• HIV testing (including the option to test anonymously), counselling and referrals.
• Free harm reduction supplies, including Naloxone kits.

Also offering free at-home HIV self tests and no appointment, lab-based testing for other STIs through GetaKit.ca. Tests can be ordered from anywhere, 24/7. Requisitions for testing are sent through the mail or made available online and tests are completed at a local lab. Call 905-799-7700 to book a clinic appointment. Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Arrive at least 30 minutes before the clinic closes.

Malton clinic

Wednesdays 1:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Brampton clinic

Thursday 1:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Birth control, harm reduction, and vaccine pick up

Before coming to pick-up your birth control pills you need to call to confirm we have your current prescription on file. If we do not have your current prescription, you will need to book an appointment with the clinic doctor before you can pick up your birth control pills. 

Fairview clinic

• Monday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Tuesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Brampton clinic

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Meadowvale clinic

• Tuesday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
• Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The Meadowvale clinic does not currently offer vaccine pick up.

Malton clinic

Wednesday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Malton clinic does not currently offer vaccine pick up.
