Where the work is happening

On The Gore Road between Patterson Side Road to Finnerty Sideroad

What we are doing

The work includes:

Clearing, grubbing, earthworks excavation;
New granular road base asphalt pavement;
Culvert replacements;
Precast modular retaining walls;
Intersection lighting;
Landscaping.

When

Construction Start: September 2023 to Finish: Summer 2025, (weather permitting)

Working Hours

Pacific Paving Limited has been contracted to complete the work on the Region’s behalf. Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Traffic Control

A lane per direction is to be maintained whenever possible. Should a lane per direction not be possible, the Contractor’s work shall allow a minimum of a single lane of traffic and shall have a flag person and / or temporary signals onsite at all times to guide traffic.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Barriers and signs will be placed for safety and direction, as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Driveway Access

When working on driveways, the Contractor will stage their work to maintain, at minimum one half of the entrance for vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Project updates
