Reconstruction of the Gore Road from Patterson Side Road to 100m North Finnerty Sideroad - Town of Caledon - Gore Road Reconstruction

Where the work is happening

The Gore Road, from Patterson Side Road and The Gore Road intersection for approximately 400m in length along the northbound lane.

What we are doing

The work includes: Placement of base asphalt.

When

Construction Start: Friday, November 17th ,2023 (Weather Permitting)

Construction Finish: Friday, November 17th, 2023 (Weather Permitting)

Incomplete works caused by weather will be moved to the following week.

Working hours

Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Expect some traffic delays during these hours.

Pacific Paving Ltd. has been contracted to complete the work on the Region’s behalf.

Traffic control

The work will be done to minimize traffic disruption while maintaining a safe working environment as required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Traffic flows will be maintained with envisaged stagnation during these works since a single lane will be used for maintaining north bound and south bound traffic as is currently being used.

Please use caution when travelling through the work zone.

We understand that this work may cause inconvenience, however, efforts will be made to minimize the impacts to the extent possible. Driveway accesses will be kept open as much as possible. If there is a need to temporarily block a driveway for construction purposes, we will be in contact with any affected resident ahead of time to determine alternative arrangements.
