Be a Peel Children’s Water Festival High School Volunteer
The Peel Children’s Water Festival is made possible through the hard work and dedication of high school volunteers.
Volunteers help set up and run over 50 activity stations. They also provide peer mentorship to Festival participants and learn about important environmental issues.
As a volunteer, you’ll receive:
- A Certificate of Appreciation.
- The opportunity to network with leading industry professionals.
- A Festival t-shirt.
- Training and support for setting up and running activities.
If you’re a teacher who’d like to register your high school for future Water Festivals, please email us.
Activity scripts for volunteers
We assign various activity stations to Festival volunteers. Please print and bring along activity scripts to the Festival to ensure volunteers are prepared for their activities.

- Bring a lunch with reusable food and beverage containers, as well as reusable cutlery and napkins.
- Water stations are onsite for reusable water bottles.
- The Festival is an outdoor event that runs rain or shine. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and for working outside.
