We provide regional service to turn the water supply off or on at residential property lines.

Eligibility
Residential property owners within Peel Region are eligible.
Properties within private townhomes and condominium complexes are not eligible for this service. That service must be requested y the condominium corporation.
What you need
Provide details of your request to the Peel Region Customer Contact Center. An adult (over 18) must be at home and present at the time of water turn off/on.
Fees
There is no fee.
How to request
Contact the Peel Region Customer Contact Center at 905-791-7800.
Non-emergency turn on/off service requests require 72 hours notice (service pre-inspection required). Service is available 24/7.
For emergencies, staff will respond within two (2) hours of request depending on the weather.
