Report a pool or spa water facility opening

If you’re opening a new pool or spa water facility in Peel Region, Ontario regulation 565 under the Health Protection and Promotion Act requires you to notify Peel Public Health at least 14 days before opening a new facility.

If your water facility was closed for more than 4 weeks, you must notify us at least 14 days before your planned reopening date.

Eligibility

You must be an operator of a pool or spa in Peel.

What you need

You’ll need to provide:

• The type of facility.
• Intended opening date.
• Facility name.
• Address and phone number of the facility.
• The owner’s company name and information.
• Operator’s information.
• Property management information (if applicable).

Fees

There is no fee.
