    Your mental health is important to us. Learn who to contact for extra support.

    Suicide Crisis Helpline

    • If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, call, or text 988.
    • Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    Priority Access Insight Health Solution 905-813-4187 or insightWR@TPH.ca

    • THP Insight Health Solutions can provide staff with faster access to psychological assessment.
    • Does not need to be work related.
    • The clinic is open: Monday to Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    • Available to staff and their families.
    • Provides confidential advice, counseling, and treatment by phone, virtually, or in person.

    • Peer support for first responders by first responders.
    • Free, confidential 24/7 helpline.
    • Open to all staff from paramedic services.

    Wounded Warriors 1-877-767-9642

    • Identify yourself as a paramedic calling for First Responders Assist.
    • Get free and confidential virtual or in-person services with trauma-informed clinicians.

    BounceBack

    • Free skill-building program designed to help adults and youth (15 years or older), to manage low mood, mild to moderate depression, anxiety, stress or worry.
    • BounceBack Ontario provides professional support over the phone and through online videos. They give you access to tools that help you on your path to mental wellbeing. This is not a counselling or crisis service.

    EveryMind

    • An accredited child and youth mental health agency.
    • It offers a wide variety of high-quality services for infants, children, youth, young adults (25 years or younger), and their families or caregivers, if they are experiencing emotional challenges like difficulties with their feelings, relationships, or behaviour.
    • All services provided are confidential, voluntary, and free of charge.
