Regional Council to begin deliberating Peel’s Proposed 2023 Budget tomorrow

BRAMPTON, ON. (January 18, 2023) – Regional Council discussions of the 2023 Operating and Capital Budgets begin tomorrow morning.

The meeting will commence with the Regional Budget Corporate Overview presentation at 9:30 a.m., followed by the presentations for Peel Regional Police and Ontario Provincial Police.

On Jan. 26, the Regional Council budget meeting will continue with presentations for Regionally Controlled Services: Housing Support, Waste Management, Paramedics, Seniors Services, Public Health, Early Years and Child Care, and Water and Wastewater. On Feb. 2, the Regional Council budget meeting will continue with presentations for Regionally Financed External Organizations: Credit Valley Conservation Authority, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and Conservation Halton.

The Regional Council Budget meeting(s) are open to the public and residents may attend. The meetings will also be live streamed on peelregion.ca.
