Labour Day Holiday Service Hours at the Region of Peel
Brampton, ON. (August 29, 2022) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the Labour Day Holiday on Monday, September 5, 2022.
The following non-emergency services are closed and will reopen on Tuesday, September 6, 2022:
- Access Peel Counters (by appointment only)
- Dental Services Contact Centre
- Early Years and Child Care Services
- Family Health Call Centre
- Healthy Sexuality Clinic
- Needle Exchange Program - Mobile Van
- Ontario Works in Peel
- Peel Living Office
Vaccination clinics
All public and community clinics will be closed Monday, September 5, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 6.

Early Years and Child Care Services
Child Care Subsidy units will be closed on Monday, September 5, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 6.
Ontario Works in Peel
Ontario Works will be closed on Monday, September 5, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 6.
Emergency shelter, food, medication, or personal support

TransHelp
All trips for Monday, September 5, and Tuesday, September 6, must be booked by 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 4.
On Monday, September 5:
- TransHelp will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. (vendor service only).
- All subscription trips will be cancelled, with the exception of dialysis trips.
- No flexible trips will be accommodated on this day.
- The TransHelp office will be closed and unable to process applications, payments or feedback.
- TransHelp office will re-open on Tuesday, September 6 at 8:30 a.m.

Waste collection Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon
There will be no waste collection on Monday, September 5. Waste will be collected one day later that week. Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.
All Community Recycling Centres are closed on Monday, September 5, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 6.
Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)
Explore, connect, and create this Labour Day weekend at PAMA with free general admission. Currently the Art Gallery and Historic Courthouse buildings are open, and the Archives and Museum are closed for construction. PAMA will be closed on Monday, September 5 and will reopen on Tuesday, September 6.
