Family Day Holiday Service Hours at the Region of Peel

Brampton, ON. (February 14, 2022) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the Family Day Holiday on Monday, February 21, 2022.

The following non-emergency services are closed and will reopen on Tuesday, February 22, 2022:

Vaccination clinics

First and second doses are available for eligible individuals 5 years or older. Adults 18 years or older, and other select groups are eligible to receive a third or booster dose. Walk-ins are accepted. To book your appointment, visit COVID-19 Vaccine appointment.

Emergency shelter, food, medication, or personal support

For urgent homelessness supports, including food, supplies, referrals, and shelter, call the Street Helpline 24/7 at 1-877-848-8481. For information on emergency shelter, visit the emergency shelter web page or call 905-450-1996.

Peel Living Maintenance Requests

For Peel Living maintenance requests, contact the 24-hour request line at 905-790-7335.

TransHelp

All trips for Monday, February 21 and Tuesday, February 22 must be booked by 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 20.

Public Transit

Visit Brampton Transit and Mississauga Transit for holiday schedules.

Waste collection Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon

There will be no waste collection on Monday, February 21. Waste will be collected one day later that week. Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.

All Community Recycling Centres will be closed Monday, February 21, and will return to regular schedule on Tuesday, February 22.

Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)

PAMA is temporarily closed until early 2022 to conduct upgrades to its facility. However, the Art Gallery and Courthouse will be opened on Family Day for a one-day-only, in-person event (with limited capacities and timed tickets), where families can explore the new Power Play: Hockey in Contemporary Art exhibit and participate in a hockey-inspired creative activity. PAMA will also offer online opportunities including a new Family Virtual Escape Room challenge and persons can take a tour of many virtual exhibitions, or go behind the scenes.
