Individuals who attended wedding events at Red Rose Convention Centre and Candles Banquet Hall in Mississauga on October 8th and 9th exposed to COVID-19

Brampton, ON. (October 18, 2021) – Peel Public Health is advising anyone who attended recent wedding events at the following two separate locations in Mississauga to seek immediate testing:

Those seeking testing because of exposure at either location should give testers the following outbreak number: 2253-2021-48743.

Fully vaccinated individuals attending either event, who do not have any symptoms, do not need to isolate; however, they should continue to follow precautions such as masking, physical distancing and limiting contacts while waiting for test results. Testing locations can be found by Googling "COVID testing near me" with location services enabled.

Information on how to self-isolate can be found at Coronavirus self-isolation page. Failure to comply with self-isolation can result in fines under the Section 22 Class Order.
