Party guests at Studio Chaar Productions in Mississauga urged to get tested for COVID-19

BRAMPTON, ON. (September 3, 2021) – Peel Public Health urges everyone who attended a party on August 21 at Studio Chaar Productions Ltd., 1707 Sismet Rd, Mississauga, to get immediate testing because of a confirmed exposure to COVID-19. Fully vaccinated guests should also get tested.

Everyone seeking testing because of this exposure should give testers the following outbreak number: 2253-2021-46003. Testing locations can be found by Googling “COVID testing near me” with location services enabled. If symptoms develop, individuals should self-isolate away from others.

Organized events are subject to public disclosure of COVID-19 exposures when there are:

  1. 100 or more people in attendance and two or more confirmed cases associated with the event, and/or
  2. risk of transmission of COVID-19 to the community because contact tracing is not possible.

Legal action may be pursued if event organizers or venues fail to cooperate or comply with Public Health direction to provide complete lists of event attendees, for the purpose of contact tracing, within 24 hours of request.
