Garbage tags required to dispose of excess garbage

Brampton, ON (June 28, 2021) – Residents in Peel are advised that the additional 2-bag limit for excess garbage has ended and garbage tags are required to dispose of excess garbage.

Garbage tags are available online and residents can visit the Region of Peel website to order their garbage tags. Residents can also order garbage tags by phone by calling 905-791-9499 or 905-584-2216 for Caledon residents.

Residents can use either the old garbage tags (orange) or the new garbage tags (yellow) until further notice.

As a reminder:

Residents can also take their excess garbage to any Peel Community Recycling Centre (CRC) for drop-off. Disposal fees apply. CRCs only accept credit or debit cards. No cash accepted.
