Peel residents 18 and over in hot spot postal codes can book COVID-19 vaccine appointments beginning May 3

Brampton, ON (May 2, 2021) - As of Monday, May 3, at 8 a.m., all vaccine clinics in Peel region will accept bookings for individuals who are 18 years and older in 2021 within provincially-identified hot spot postal codes as follows:

With the expansion of the booking eligibility, more residents will be able to receive the vaccines. Appointments are available at most Peel Public Health mass vaccination clinics immediately, as of Monday. Given the interest and demand to book appointments at our clinics, residents are encouraged to book as soon as possible but be patient since, in some instances, they may not get an appointment for a few days or longer because a large group of Peel residents is now newly eligible.

The 18+ eligible group can use Ontario’s vaccine booking system (as of 8 a.m. on May 3) to find out how to schedule an appointment or can call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line number at 1-833-943-3900. The full list of eligible groups and how to book an appointment can be found here - Book your COVID-19 vaccine - Region of Peel (peelregion.ca).

The fastest way to book an appointment is online. Residents without internet access who need assistance booking can call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900 (TTY 1-866-797-0007).

Information on how to prepare for an appointment and what to expect at a clinic is available at peelregion.ca/COVID19vaccine. This is a one-stop spot for Peel residents to book an appointment to get vaccinated at the clinic of their choice when it’s their turn.

Adults 65 years or older and people of any age who have transportation barriers can use TransHelp, free of charge, to get to their vaccine appointment. You don't need to be a TransHelp client to use this service. Call 905-791-1015 at least 48 hours before your appointment to make your booking.

Additional transportation information can be found here - Preparing for your appointment Getting the COVID-19 vaccine - Region of Peel (peelregion.ca).
