Garbage tags now available online

BRAMPTON, ON (February 1, 2021) – Residents in Peel are reminded that as of February 8, the additional 2-bag limit for excess garbage will end. Garbage tags will be required to dispose of excess garbage.

Garbage tags are available online and residents can visit the Region of Peel website to order their garbage tags. Residents can also order garbage tags by phone by calling 905-791-9499 or 905-584-2216 for Caledon residents.

Residents can use either the old garbage tags (orange) or the new garbage tags (yellow) until further notice.

As a reminder:

Residents can also take their excess garbage to any Peel Community Recycling Centre (CRC) for drop-off. Disposal fees apply. CRCs only accept credit or debit cards. No cash accepted.
