Jim Archdekin Community Centre to host next mobile COVID-19 testing centre
Brampton, ON (June 26, 2020) – Peel’s mobile COVID-19 testing site will be helping residents at Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre in Brampton Tuesday June 30th.
The continued relocation of the mobile centre is helping provide residents with easier access to testing and helps with the ongoing effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 across Peel.
This is the latest location in the strategic movement of the test centre to neigbourhoods most in need.
Location: Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre
Address: 292 Conestoga Drive, Brampton
Date: Tuesday, June 30, 2020
Time: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Results will be available online for anyone with a green Health Card.
Before attending, residents should remember:
- Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should attend one of the hospital-based assessment centres for testing, rather than attend the mobile location.
- Please wear a non-medical mask when you arrive.
- Depending on their risk of exposure, residents attending the mobile testing location may need to self-isolate at home for 14 days following their test or until their results come back negative.
Mobile testing across Peel is made possible through a partnership between Ontario Health (Central), Region of Peel, Peel Public Health, Peel Paramedics, primary care, community partners and hospital partners like Headwaters Health Care Centre, Trillium Health Partners and William Osler Health System.
