Thanksgiving holiday service hours at the Region of Peel
Brampton, ON. (October 7, 2019) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Monday, Oct. 14 and will reopen Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Residents in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon are advised that there will be no waste collection on Monday, October 14, due to the Thanksgiving Day Holiday. Waste collection will be one day later that week. Check your collection calendar to find your collection day.
All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will reopen for regular operating hours on Tuesday, October 15.
TransHelp
All specific trips for Monday, Oct. 14 and Tuesday, Oct. 15 must be booked by 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.
Flexible trips will not be accommodated after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13 or any time of day on Monday, Oct. 14.
On Monday, Oct. 14:
- TransHelp will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
- All subscription trips will be cancelled, with the exception of dialysis trips.
- The TransHelp office will be closed, with regular hours resuming on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

PAMA
Explore exhibitions, connect with friends and create your own masterpieces at Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) for the long weekend. PAMA is open Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 12 and Oct. 13) for regular hours of operation.
