Four Region of Peel Community Recycling Centres Begin Extended Hours
Brampton, ON. (April 29, 2019) – Starting in May and continuing through to October 31, 2019, four of the Region’s Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) start their extended hours at the following locations:
- Brampton Community Recycling Centre
Monday – Thursday: open until 8 p.m. - Battleford Community Recycling Centre
Monday – Thursday: open until 8 p.m.
- Heart Lake Community Recycling Centre
Thursdays open until 8 p.m. - Fewster Community Recycling Centre
Thursdays open until 8 p.m.
Please note: Hours of operation remain unchanged at the Caledon and Bolton CRCs in Caledon.
At a CRC, Peel residents can:
- drop off gently used items in good working condition for reuse,
- safely dispose of household hazardous waste,
- recycle acceptable materials,
- drop off textiles for reuse and recycling, and
- dispose of any excess garbage after they have reduced and recycled what they can.
