Upcoming changes to housing online applications
Applicants will soon be able to create or sign in to a Peel Region account before completing a Housing Services application online. The new process will allow applicants to:
- Start a new housing application
- Continue an application in progress
- Edit an application that has not yet been processed
- View previously submitted applications
Applying online will continue to be the fastest and most convenient way to access Housing Services.
Temporary service interruption
The Housing Services online screening tool has been unavailable since July 17, 2026 and will remain offline while we transition to the new online application process.
New online applications cannot be started until the new system is available.
If you need to apply for housing services in the meantime, call 905-453-1300. A member of our team can complete the screening process with you over the telephone.
If you've already started the process
If you previously completed the Housing Services screening process but have not yet completed the online intake form, continue checking back, the intake form will be available again as soon as possible.
If you have already completed screening, there is no need to complete another screening unless Housing Services contacts you and advises otherwise.
Do not submit multiple requests for the same household, as duplicate applications may delay processing.
