Transitional housing
Transitional housing offers structure, supervision, support, and life skills to help people go from homelessness to permanent housing.
The following transitional housing programs are available in Peel.
Peel Youth Village provides stable transitional housing and support services for youth between 16 and 24 years for a maximum of 18 months. Find out how to apply.
Birch Place offers transitional housing for youth ages 16 to 24, with targeted services and support for a maximum of 18 months.
St. Leonard's Place provides residential support for men 18 years or older who have significant mental health or substance abuse problems, as well as those who’ve been involved in the justice system. St. Leonard's Place offers 3 streams of housing programs.
Armagh House is a transitional supportive housing program. They offer secure and affordable housing to abused women and their children, for extended periods of time. Learn more about Armagh House.

Supportive Housing for Human Sex Trafficking survivors includes:
- 1 safe emergency house (for up to 6 months).
- 1 transitional house (from 6 months to 2 years).
