Registering for school
You're required to provide vaccination information for your child when registering for school for the first time. This includes when registering your child for kindergarten and students in other grades coming from outside Ontario.
You must report your child's vaccinations to Peel Region, otherwise they may be suspended from school. You must report every vaccine they have received, including vaccines given as an infant (baby needles) or that may have been given in another province or country.
After you report the vaccinations, you will be given a reference number. You will need to provide this reference number to your school as proof you submitted your child's vaccinations.
Report your child's vaccinations.
Call us at 905-799-7700 or toll-free 1-888-919-7800 if you:
- Cannot find the reference number.
- Have already reported vaccinations online.
- Are having technical issues with the reporting tool.
- Have chosen not to vaccinate your child and would like to apply for an exemption.
If you do not have online access or your child does not have an Ontario Health Card, provide a photocopy of your vaccine record when you register at the school or welcome centre. The school or welcome centre will forward the vaccine record to us.
