Project 23-2261 - September 1, 2025 update
Streets affected: Etobicoke Creek from Kennedy Road South to Derry Road East
Peel Region will be installing a new large-diameter (2100mm) sanitary sewer in your area within the next few years. Sanitary sewers are underground pipes that carry wastewater from your home or business to a water resource recovery facility. Wastewater is created when water goes down a drain or toilet. As our population grows, we need to build larger sewers to provide you with high-quality wastewater services.
We are holding a Public Information Centre to tell you more about the project and to give you the opportunity to have your say in certain elements of the design. At this drop-in open-house event, you can speak with the project team and share any thoughts you may have about how the project may affect you and the community, and how we can minimize its impact. We want to hear from you.
Here are the event details:
- Date and time: September 23, 2025; 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Location: The Garden Banquet and Conference Centre, 8 Clipper Court, Brampton L6W 4T9
