Project 23-2150 - April 12, 2024 update
Roads affected: Kensington Road and Knightsbridge Park
Peel Region is planning to install new sanitary sewer pipes and maintenance holes in your area within the next two years, as shown on the attached map. Sanitary sewers are underground pipes that carry wastewater from your home to a wastewater treatment plant. Wastewater is created when water goes down the drain or is flushed down the toilet. As pipes age and our population grows, we need to replace older sewers and install new ones to keep providing high quality wastewater services to you.
As part of this work, we are required to remove select trees in Knightsbridge Park and along the public path beside Spring Creek. These tree removals have been carefully reviewed by certified Arborists in consultation with the City of Brampton and are necessary to facilitate these important sanitary sewer improvements. After construction is complete, tree re-planting will occur to restore the trees in the park and along the pathway.
We expect the tree removal activities to take place between May 1-30, 2024.
