Streets affected: Dixie Road between Britannia Road East and Highway 401

Notice of night work and corresponding lane closures

Top asphalt milling will take place during the night (9:30 pm to 7:00 am) on Dixie Road, from Britannia Road East to Highway 401, between Monday, September 29 to Thursday, October 2, 2025 (weather permitting). In the event of inclement weather, any incomplete work will be rescheduled to the next working day.

Traffic impacts and overnight works

To complete the works, partial intersection closures and lane restrictions are required.

During paving operations, the traffic on Dixie Road will continue to operate with a minimum of a single lane open in each direction. The intersection at Dixie Road and Shawson Drive will be partially blocked temporarily while work progresses.

Driveways along Dixie Road will not be accessible for the duration of the resurfacing work. Patrons are advised to use side street driveway access where available.
