Notice of night work and corresponding lane closures

Asphalt milling will take place during the day (12 pm to 7 pm), and base paving will take place during the night (7 pm to 7 am) on Dixie Road, from Britannia Road East to Highway 401, between July 14 to July 25 (weather permitting).

Traffic Impacts and overnight works

To complete the works, partial intersection closures and lane restrictions are required.

During milling and paving operations, the traffic on Dixie Road will continue to operate with a minimum of a single lane open in each direction. The intersections at Dixie Road and Britannia Road East, and Dixie Road and Shawson Drive, will be partially blocked temporarily while work progresses.

Driveways along Dixie Rd will be temporarily impacted for the duration of the resurfacing work. Patrons are advised to use side street driveway access where available.
