Project 17-2280 - May 12, 2023 update

Streets affected: Harvestview Avenue.

The Region of Peel has been working in your area to install a new sanitary sewer on Harvestview Avenue.

At this time, we have:

• Finished installing the sanitary sewer on Harvestview Ave,
• Temporarily repaired the road and curbs where disturbed by the sanitary sewer work.

Schedule for remaining construction and repair work

We expect to start work again in late summer 2023 to:

• Connect properties to the new sanitary sewer by replacing individual wastewater service pipes on Harvestview Avenue,
• Repair driveways, road, curbs, sidewalk and sod (grass) where disturbed by the sanitary sewer replacement work. This will include replacing the temporary asphalt repairs on driveways, curbs, sidewalks, and roads to complete the final restoration.

We plan to complete this work by the end of 2023.

More details about restoration will be shared in a follow-up notice.

Settlement of the ground

It is normal for repaired areas to settle a bit in the coming months. If you notice large potholes forming in the driveway, street, lawn or boulevard, please let us know and we will ensure the contractor fixes this.
