Street affected: Orr Road
Temporary road closure update
Peel Region has been installing new sanitary sewers along Watersedge Road, Country Club Crescent, Meadow Wood Road and Orr Road.
At this stage, a temporary road closure will be required to complete this work.
Traffic impacts
- Orr Road will be closed to through traffic from Clarkson Rd to Meadow Wood Road as shown in the attached map. This temporary road closure will take place between March 30, 2026 and April 24, 2026.
- Access to Bardley Museum will be maintained all the time.
- A detour route will be clearly marked with signs
- Pedestrian access will be maintained. No through traffic and on-street parking will be allowed.
The onsite contractor will guide emergency service vehicles and school buses through the closure.
Construction safety
Construction zones require extra caution to keep everyone safe. Be aware of your surroundings when driving, walking, or biking near the construction area. Watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, and consider other routes. Visit work zone safety for more information.
