Watermain replacement and improvement

Streets affected: Mayfield Road west of the Gore Road.

The Region of Peel is working in your neighborhood to install new watermains along Mayfield Road. This work is required to maintain and improve existing water service.

At this stage in the project, temporary lane adjustments will be required to complete this work. Attached map.

Traffic impacts

Please expect the following traffic impacts on Mayfield Road just west of the Gore Road.

Traffic lanes on Mayfield Road will be shifted to make room for the watermain installation.
Mayfield Road will be periodically reduced to a single lane shared by both directions. At these times, traffic will be directed by police officers and/or flag persons.

These traffic impacts are expected to occur daily between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Tuesday, April 11 to Friday, April 14, 2023. Please expect delays and choose alternate routes if possible.
