Project 14-1346 E - December 4, 2023 update

Street affected: Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Peel Region is continuing work in your area to replace watermains along Winston Churchill Boulevard. Some additional upcoming work will again take place overnight, in order to minimize the impact of water disruptions to local businesses. This overnight work will occur in areas between Dundas Street West and Frankston Road on Winston Churchill Boulevard. We apologize in advance for any inconveniences caused by this work.

Schedule

The overnight work is expected to take place on the dates and locations noted below.

• Intersection of Laird Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard on December 11, 2023, starting at 9:00 am to December 12, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.
• Intersection of Frankston Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard on December 13, 2023, starting at 9:00 am to December 14, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.
• 90 and 220 meters north of the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street West on December 14, 2023, starting at 7:00 am to December 15, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.
• 130 and 220 meters north of the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street West on December 15, 2023, starting at 7:00 am to December 16, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.
• Intersection of Laird Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard. On December 18, 2023, starting at 9:00 am to December 19, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.
• 60 meters north of the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Dundas Street West on December 18, 2023, starting at 7:00 am to December 19, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.
• 40 meters south of the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Laid Road on December 19, 2023, starting at 7:00 am to December 20, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.
• 180 meters north of the intersection of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Laid Road on December 19, 2023, starting at 7:00 am to December 20, 2023, ending at 7:00 am.

The exact dates may vary slightly due to unpredictable delays, such as poor weather conditions.

Traffic impacts

This work will require temporary partial lane closures between Dundas Street West and Frankston Road on Winston Churchill Boulevard. Signage will be available for detour route directions.

Noise

We do not anticipate significant noise or vibrations above normal weekday construction levels during these operations. Efforts will be made to reduce impacts to local residents as much as possible.

When driving, walking, or biking through the construction area, please be aware of your surroundings, watch for construction crews and other road users, slow down, account for delays, and consider other routes if possible.
