Downtown Brampton Water and Wastewater Capacity Improvements project

Public Information Centre (PIC) #1

The first of two Public Information Centres (PICs) planned for this project is available both in-person and online.

The in-person PIC #1 will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Brampton City Hall (2 Wellington Street West, Brampton ON L6Y 4R2 in the Atrium. PIC #1 will introduce the study and provide information on:

• The Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process
• The project’s Problem and Opportunity statement
• New sanitary sewer locations
• New watermain route alternatives being considered
• Proposed evaluation criteria for the alternatives
• Project progress, schedule, and next steps.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view project materials, speak with project team members and ask questions.

Online materials and feedback

Project materials, including electronic display boards, will be available online starting on March 26, 2026. A public survey will be open until April 10, 2026 to collect feedback.
