Our Regional Values (our Values) are guiding principles that define how Peel Region employees work together. They help drive employee behaviours and our organization’s culture.
With the announcement of Bill 112 to dissolve Peel Region, we’ve updated our Values to:
- Include 5 Core Values: Care and Support, Leadership, Transparency, Inclusion and Collaboration.
- Include new and clearer behaviour statements (declarations of behaviours that contribute to creating a positive, productive, and harmonious workplace).
- Reflect our organization’s commitment to inclusion.
- Support a positive workplace culture and employee well-being.
Our updated Regional Values are also:
- Fundamental to establishing a positive organizational culture.
- A key driver for supporting the psychological safety and well-being of Peel Region employees.
- Reflective of our continued support of our vision of a Community for Life as we continue to deliver vital programs and services.
