To maintain public information privacy, responses to comments received will be provided to individual stakeholders and included in the Stormwater Master Plan study with the exception of private contact details. The feedback received will be considered in the finalization of the Stormwater Master Plan study. One comment received through the comment form was submitted anonymously. As such, the comment and response will be documented.
Comment/Question:
Is there risk of surcharge and flooding due to pipe upsizing being undertaken at the time of asset renewal and not planned for sooner?
Response:
There are no known historical complaints of flooding in the identified areas for upsizing. Based on all available information including the modelling assessment, the severity of the issues do not require immediate action but should be considered in terms of pipe upsizing at the time of asset renewal.
