Construction work starting in your neighbourhood

Bolton North HIll Sewage Pumping Station upgrades

The Region of Peel will be upgrading the existing Bolton North Hill Sewage Pumping Station located at 109 Castelli Court to help reduce the risk of flooding in your community. Most of the construction activities will be restricted to within the pumping station property and this will require a full closure of the pedestrian trail between Crestridge Dr. and Castelli Court for the entire duration of this construction project. A minor excavation work will be undertaken on Crestridge Dr. which will require lane restrictions for a short duration.

Wastewater comes from flushing toilets, having a shower or washing dishes. The sanitary sewer pipe takes wastewater from homes and business to the treatment plant.

Construction work is resuming in June 2022

Reducing the impacts of construction

  • The work will be phased to minimize disruption to traffic in the area.
  • One lane of traffic will be maintained near the excavation site on Crestridge Dr.
  • Pedestrian access to homes will be maintained at all times.
  • Should construction require an interruption of your water supply, we will contact. you to arrange the most convenient time. If an emergency shutdown of your water supply is required, we will inform you and attempt to minimize the inconvenience.
