Notice of intention to pass or amend a fees and charges by-law
The Council of the Regional Municipality of Peel is providing notice that it intends to pass or amend a fees and charges by-law. The by-law or amended by-law would authorize Peel Region to impose fees and charges to recover the costs of services or activities in response to a direction or order issued under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002 in relation to a drinking water system not owned by Peel Region.
Regional Council meetings are open to the public, and residents may attend. The meetings will also be live-streamed on the Peel Region website.
Any person or organization wishing to delegate to Regional Council should email their written submission or delegation request to the Office of the Regional Clerk at regional.clerk@peelregion.ca or call 905–791–7800, ext. 4545 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting (i.e. by 9:30 a.m. on the Monday prior to the meeting). The Regional Council meeting to discuss and amend fees by-law 43-2002 is scheduled for:

The by-law may be approved in whole or in part at the above-noted Regional Council meeting or any subsequent Regional Council meeting. If the matter is considered at a subsequent meeting of Council, no additional notice will be provided unless Regional Council directs otherwise.
