Peel Region appoints Sherona Hollman as Director of Strategy and Transformation

BRAMPTON, ON (October 19, 2023) – Peel Region announces Sherona Hollman as Director of Strategy and Transformation. In this role, she will be the Director leading the next phase of Bill 112 within Peel Region.

Sherona will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer, Gary Kent.

Sherona is a resident of Peel and has contributed to Peel Region in various capacities over the past 18 years, most recently as the Director of Corporate Strategy & Performance. Previously, she was the Director of the Corporate Strategy Office, Planning Chief for Peel’s COVID-19 Response, Manager of Corporate Project Management, and Manager of Financial Policy & Strategic Initiatives.

Sherona holds a Masters Degree in Political Science, is a Project Management Professional, and a Certified Change Management Practitioner. She also holds Certificates in Strategic Leadership & Innovation, Municipal Finance & Accounting, Strategic Foresight and Lean Six Sigma.

Sherona has extensive experience working with the province, local municipalities, community partners, federal government, and the broader municipal sector. She effectively leads, facilitates and collaborates to improve value, impact, systems thinking, and community outcomes.
