Peel Region appoints Peggy Tollett as Senior Director, Business & Financial Planning and Deputy Treasurer
BRAMPTON, ON (Oct. 27, 2025) – Peel Region is pleased to announce the appointment of Peggy Tollett as the new Senior Director, Business & Financial Planning and Deputy Treasurer, effective Oct. 27, 2025.
In her role, Peggy will lead Peel’s Business and Financial Planning department, responsible for business planning, budgeting, capital programs, development charges and insurance, asset management, long term financial planning, aligning department goals with executive mandates and performance of Peel’s service initiatives (both capital and operating).
Peggy brings a wealth of knowledge, with over 20 years of experience in municipal finance. She previously held the position of Director of Finance & Treasurer for King City. Peggy holds designations as both a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified General Accountant (CGA) and is highly regarded for her collaborative leadership style.
