Make a difference by serving on a Peel Region Council Committee
November 3, 2026
Peel Region is seeking residents to help shape decisions that impact our community. Applications are now open for residents interested in serving as community members on Region Council committees. Community members contribute valuable local knowledge and diverse perspectives, helping to review important issues, provide advice and support informed decision-making by Council.
Applications are open from Monday, November 2 to Friday, November 27, 2026.
Consider applying to be a community member
Make a difference in your community by serving on a Peel Region committee. Community members bring valuable local knowledge, lived experience, and diverse perspectives to discussions that help inform Regional Council decisions.
Serving on a committee is an opportunity to contribute to issues that matter to residents, learn more about local government, collaborate with community leaders, and gain valuable governance and leadership experience.
Regional Council committees provide information and recommendations to Council on programs, services, policies, and community priorities within their mandate. Community members serve in an advisory role and help ensure decisions reflect the needs and perspectives of Peel residents.
