2025 Family Day Holiday Service Hours at Peel Region
BRAMPTON, ON (February 13, 2025) - Peel Region offices and some non emergencies services will be closed for the Family Day holiday on Monday, February 17, 2025.
The following non-emergency services are closed and will reopen Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Vaccination Clinics
Routine school immunization clinics will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025. Clinics will resume regular hours of operations on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Visit here to book your appointment.
Ontario Works
Ontario Works offices will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, and will reopen on Tuesday, February 18.
Emergency shelter, food, or personal support

TransHelp
All trips for Monday, February 17, and Tuesday, February 18, must be booked by 7 p.m. on Sunday, February 16.
On Monday, February 17 (Family Day):
- Call us at 905-791-1015 if you need to cancel your trip.
- Flexible (same-day) trips will not be provided.
- TransHelp will operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
- The TransHelp office will be closed and unable to process applications, payments, or feedback.
- Subscription trips will be cancelled, except for dialysis trips.
We offer bookings up to 7 days in advance. Consider booking your next trip early to ensure your holiday travel.

Waste Collection
On Monday, February 17, 2025, there will be no waste collection. Waste will be collected one day later that week. Check your collection calendar to find your pickup day or sign up to receive free waste collection reminders.
All Community Recycling Centres will be closed on Monday, February 17, and will reopen on Tuesday, February 18.
Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)
PAMA will remain open on Family Day, February 17. Visit PAMA for a day of free fun! Create cloud-inspired art, enjoy storytelling with author Yolanda T. Marshall, and experience mime, dance, and puppetry with Pastel's Imaginarium.
